Contempo Design + Communications was hired to create Environmental Graphics and Interior Architecture for the new elementary school in Warrensville Heights. The work Contempo completed included: custom menu boards, wall graphics, door and window graphics, entranceway graphics that included the school’s logo, and custom wall murals.
Contempo Design + Communications is proud to be the design partner of Pease, CPAs and produce the firm’s magazine, edge. This year Contempo did a branding refresh for Pease, CPAs, as well as produced volume’s I & II of the edge magazine, which is published to bring you local and regional business stories from Pease, CPAs clients and beyond.
This second volume celebrates Pease, CPAs 20th anniversary and highlights two Cleveland businesses including one local manufacturing company’s ESOP journey. Many articles featured are written by Pease, CPAs experts on topics including the trend of craft brewery acquisitions and delivering shareholder value.
This past year Contempo got to work on several environmental graphic design projects for the Cleveland Indians. One that we did more recently this year was updating the service level wall wraps with the Indians Purpose and Mission Statements.
This past year Contempo had the pleasure to redesign W.F. Hann & Sons website. Your website is the front door to your business online and it is the most essential tool businesses have to connect with customers. A good website gets people to the information they need quickly. A poorly designed website can frustrate the user and turn them away. We can assist you in strategic development of your site to make sure it is mobile optimized and that it performs well to keep your clients and customers coming back.
Progressive Field hosted the All-Star Game during the early part of July and it was a major success. We like to think we had a hand in some of that success by helping the Indians and Major League Baseball create promotional materials leading up to the week long event.
The Foundry Community Rowing and Sailing Center needed some help putting together a 2 page flyer, touting their new sailing center and a full page ad congratulating their recent graduates. Contempo was more than happy to design both pieces.
After Contempo recently finished Pease & Associates first official publication, Edge Magazine, the firm had a desire to send out the magazines to potential prospects and clients announcing this new piece. In order to make a splash, they requested we design a folder that would hold the periodical along with a gift card to Starbucks so prospects could enjoy a coffee on them while reading the latest issue. Along with the “Coffee Folder” they decided to create a generic firm folder that also incorporated their proud new masthead to cross promote during sales proposals. The Uncoated cover stock and embossed logos along with pops of contrasting color really make this piece a vibrant call to action for the accounting firm.
Contempo has been a proud member of the Warrensville Heights Area Chamber of Commerce for many years, and our offices have been located within the city’s confines for over a decade. We were so excited to be able to work on a piece for the city we call home, and this first edition of The Friendly City magazine (Spring 2019) was a great success. Working closely with Director of Communications and Activities, June Scharf, Contempo produced a clean and elegantly designed 16 page magazine that highlights the wonderful things happening around the city and by it’s citizens. We look forward to production of the next issue coming up for Summer 2019!
Since winning the 2017 FES Pitch Competition and receiving the prize of a new logo and branding package Onco solutions has steadily grown and has needed more marketing materials. Contempo was there to help and recently laid out a two page flyer to help the Onco sales team explain the nature and details behind their body of work.
Opening day has come and gone but over the winter months we had been hard at work on several new signage pieces for the recently renovated Club Lounge at Progressive Field that we are excited to show off. The new space has a much more open feel, with a modern and clean look and a much better flow. Contempo was tasked with creating a new brand logo for the Discount Drug Mart Club and carrying through the theme/vision of player silhouettes within the artwork in the space. Using that inspiration as our guide, layered acrylic art pieces featuring current and former star players and ballpark imagery were designed and developed with the team at Brilliant Electric Sign Co. A feature wall mural that accompanied an art installation of painted bats that created a block C pattern was created. Wall mural artwork that adorned the escalator corridor viewable as fans entered the space from the lower level was also applied. These images showcase a culmination of hundreds of hours of behind-the-scenes work through meetings, conference calls, on-site visits, and of course the actual execution using our trusty Mac computers. We hope you enjoy viewing these items here and in person as much as we enjoyed creating them!
