Brand Refresh

Pease & Associates Branding

Contempo Communications was asked to redevelop the company’s visual brand for a multitude of marketing materials. We provided a logo refresh, selected the company’s primary font, colors and images, and we created brochures, signage and a website. Our designers audited all of Pease & Associates communications materials and provided a redesign of all elements so that they were all consistent going forward. The result was a new cohesive package of identity materials that renewed the look and feel of the Pease & Associates brand.

Brand Development

Various Logos Developed for the Cleveland Indians

We’re very proud to say that Contempo is the official design partner of the Cleveland Indians.  Because of our longstanding relationship, our designers are very familiar with the Indians’ brand style—something we helped create. We’ve created many logos and other identity materials for spaces within the ballpark, for special events and even promotional tee shirts. We can do this quickly and easily because we’re highly familiar with the branding guidelines— we should be, because we actually developed the Indians’ comprehensive Brand Style Guide.

Website Design + Development

Petersen & Petersen Company Website

Petersen & Petersen, a Cleveland law firm, enlisted Contempo Communications to redesign and update their company website. Making the site more responsive and mobile-friendly was the main priority. After a comprehensive review of content and branding assets, the Contempo team recommended a solution that offered a more modern and sophisticated look for the firm, a more intuitive layout and a platform that could be easily managed by the firm’s in-house team. Contempo helped Petersen & Petersen develop a custom framework and select a theme template that was in alignment with their image and brand, and then transferred all of the content, including new photography, into the new site. The website was built in WordPress, a very user-friendly platform, and Contempo provided training on the back end of the site.

Branded Product Marketing

Sonogage, Inc. E-pach Device

Contempo worked with Sonogage on marketing elements for a the company’s exciting new medical device—an e-pach portable pachymeter— in advance of the American Academy of Opthamology’s 2016 Annual Meeting. The client requested direct marketing elements, digital banner ads and an informative landing page to reach out to potential customers—opthamologists from around the country. Contempo designers also designed the immersive trade show presence featuring many of the branded materials that highlighted Sonogage’s new product.

Vehicle Graphics

Cleveland Indians Spring Training Truck

Few things foreshadow the coming of spring like the sight of the Cleveland Indians Spring Training Truck departing for Goodyear, Arizona. Contempo Communications has designed many vehicle wraps but none were as large and far-reaching as the Andrews Moving truck which houses the Indians’ precious team cargo across the country en route to Goodyear Ballpark. We can take any existing brand assets and translate them into a viable concept for a car, van, mobile kitchen trailer —or an 18 wheeler.

The finished project, which showcased the stories of women in the Cleveland community, was distributed at this prestigious annual event.

Ballpark Renovation

Progressive Field Right Field District

In 2014 the Cleveland Indians enlisted our help to envision a new public space within the ballpark that would debut in the 2015 season. Working together with front office personnel, we developed a fan-friendly space that paid tribute to five distinct neighborhoods in the city and a popular “foodie” destination within them. The result was a “marketplace” of popular branded local restaurants all within the Right Field District of Progressive Field. We developed a cohesiveness of multiple brands within the existing architecture and aesthetics of the ballpark with a variety of banners, signage, concession decor and even historical plaques.

Magazine Layout

We utilized our extensive experience in custom publishing to design the latest edition of the Insider, a publication for clients, shareholders and employees of MCPc. Custom publishing can be an effective tool to communicate news and information to a specific group of stakeholders, especially when presented in a familiar and entertaining format like a magazine. We worked with the MCPc marketing team to ensure that this edition offered the updates and changes they were looking for while maintaining seamless consistency with their overall brand style.
